This year, as part of my composition studies at UNC-Greensboro, I had a class in orchestration and was tasked with arranging a piece for strings. I chose my SATB acapella setting of “Away in a Manger”.
The piece got a reading from the excellent Gate City Camerata, and I was quite pleased with how the recording turned out. So here’s some Christmas music for you.
